The 7th international advance care planning (ACP-I) conference

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 7th international advance care planning (ACP-I) conference!

As you may know, the ACP-I (formerly ACPEL) conference takes place at March 13 – 16, 2019, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The conference is aimed at sharing and discussing new research findings and innovative approaches in the area of advance care planning. We will also share the results of our ACTION study, an EU-funded international RCT investigating the effects of advance care planning in patients with advanced cancer.

Target audiences of the conference include researchers, clinicians, policy makers, ethicists, and others involved in advance care planning practice or research. The full program is now complete and very diverse, you can find the details We have sessions on ACP in several populations (oncology, chronic diseases, dementia, older people, general practice, .. ), on technology, documentation, education, implementation, legal and ethical issues, and much more. We are very proud that our speakers are from around the globe, allowing us to present you with a broad international perspective on ACP.
